Far & Widener Podcast: John Barry, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of HRBench, on entrepreneurship, people analytics, and measuring what matters in HR

In this episode of Far and Widener, Widener University alumnus John Barry ’02 discusses how his engineering education helped shape his leadership approach and entrepreneurial career in HR technology. He reflects on building companies from the ground up, including launching his first business from his dorm room, and shares insights on how data, benchmarking, and artificial intelligence are transforming human resources.

Now co-founder and co-CEO of HRBench, Barry helps organizations use people analytics to make smarter workforce decisions. He also talks about his ongoing connection to Widener, including his service on the university’s Board of Trustees.
