Instrumental (marching band/wind ensemble) and color guard scholarships are available to full-time undergraduate students with outstanding musical ability. The best part? They're renewable each year!
Study what you love while also pursuing your passion for music. At Widener, our unique music program is designed to allow students within any major to develop their musical ability through performing, private study, as well as our academic and performance-based courses offered each semester.
When you take part in the Widener music experience, you'll also have the opportunity to take private lessons with leading professionals from the Philadelphia area.
The Widener band is an ambassador to the university, an extension of the excitement. It’s a real benefit to students to continue making music. Many of them have been playing since fourth or fifth grade. This is an opportunity to keep playing.
