The Beideman Visiting Scholar program brings world-class speakers and scholars to the Widener campus on an annual basis to stimulate discussions on current and pertinent theories and practices related to leadership development and the effective exercise of leadership.
Regardless of a student's major, our programs, either international or domestic, will offer students hands-on experiences. As students grow in their field, they will develop essential communication, language, critical thinking, and cultural competency skills. After studying abroad, students will feel more prepared as they enter their careers in an increasingly diverse and interconnected world.
Widener takes great pride in offering a volunteer day off to its faculty and staff. We love to enable our employees to contribute some time out of their day to go towards causes that they hold close to their hearts.
The goal of the Wollman Award for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is to promote and foster diversity, equity, and inclusion, in alignment with Widener’s DEI goals. Faculty, staff, and students may nominate a current Widener faculty or staff member from any campus for this award. The Chief Diversity Officer will chair a selection committee to review nominations and choose the awardee.
