Inspired by his stories, and a feeling that Widener was home, nursing major and ROTC cadet Meghan Rampolla ’25 has followed in her grandfather’s proud footsteps.
Built on a more than 160-year legacy of adaptation, the School of Engineering is embarking on its next chapter, under new leadership and with new programs designed to prepare students for the careers and challenges of tomorrow.
The Widener Marching Band is marking its five-year anniversary, but bands at the university’s predecessor institutions stretch back at least to 1864 in the form of drum and bugle units. That milestone and legacy were honored during Homecoming Weekend.
