Student lounge renamed for beloved Widener executive dedicated to diversity, inclusion

During the 2025 Homecoming festivities, Widener honored Vice President of Inclusion and Belonging Micki Davis with the renaming of the multicultural student lounge in the University Center to the Michelle M. Davis Belonging Lounge. Fred McCall, vice president of Student Engagement and Transformation, President Stacey Robertson, and alumna Eba Finger-Stentzel '18 were present for the celebrations and are quoted about Davis' impact on the Widener community.

Widener University Named a 2025 Best School for Men in Nursing

The Jack & Nancy Dwyer School of Nursing is one of only 16 schools nationwide to be named a best school for men in nursing by the American Association for Men in Nursing (AAMN). This is the first time that Widener has received this designation. Associate Professor Normajean Colby accepted the award at the AAMN's annual conference, and is quoted in this article about the significance of this recognition.
