Free STEM camps, like Widener’s, are very effective in helping girls decide their futures

Biomedical Engineering student Kamryn Purpura '27 authored this article following her experience working with area high school students at the School of Engineering's mini-camp for high school girls. Before coming to Widener, Purpura attended the camp herself and has since served as a volunteer each year running the biomaterials lab session.

CLEAR appoints 15 members to law school accreditation working group

Delaware Law School Dean Todd Clark has been appointed to a new working group with the Conference of Chief Justices and Conference of State Court Administrators, which will focus on law school accreditation. Clark is one of only two law school deans nationwide to be appointed to this group.

Announcing Our Program Directors Council

Professor of Criminal Justice Lauren Shermer has been named to the inaugural Program Directors Council for Project Pericles. This council will serve as a source for shaping ideas, strengthening connections among campuses and providing guidance connected to Project Pericles' core priorities.
