The School of Nursing Undergraduate Programs Office provides guidance and management for undergraduate faculty, staff, and students. This includes the implementation of scheduling, curriculum, personnel, facilities, and communication. This office is also responsible for managing all student clearances appropriate for clinical placement.

The Science Teaching Center provides comprehensive outreach programs for public and private schools in the Greater Delaware Valley region. The center’s mission is to improve science education and help others understand the way the world works.

The Science Division offers a wide range of majors for students to pursue a professional career or graduate study in the life or physical sciences, computer science, or mathematics.

SBDC provides Delaware County small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with a wide variety of free and confidential services and resources to help them start or grow their businesses. SBDC also partners with EMAP to provide free and confidential environmental compliance assistance to small businesses in Pennsylvania.

Widener’s Social Sciences Division offers a wide range of majors that explore individual, societal, and cultural perspectives and prepare students for successful careers and engaged lives in the 21st century.

Social Work Counseling Services is a human services agency that provides social work services and programming to community residents.

The Sociology Department prepares students to study social life, social change, and the social causes and consequences of human behavior. Sociologists investigate the structure of groups, organizations, and societies, and how people interact within these contexts.

The Speech-Language Pathology Clinic at Widener University offers evidence-based, pro bono speech and language therapy services to underserved members of the community, while offering on-campus clinical training experience to our graduate clinicians in speech-language pathology.

The Office of Student Accessibility Services provides services to students with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and psychological disabilities. Our office serves as a campus advocate for students with disabilities and ensures that all students have an equal opportunity to access academic programs and other aspects of university life.

The Office of Student Conduct works to develop students’ critical judgment and communication skills

Student Engagement and Transformation (SET) provides holistic, student-centered engagement, fostering a culture of responsiveness, care, and creativity to support the needs of all students across five main areas:

• Student Engagement
• Residence Life/Student Living
• Athletics & Recreation
• Wellbeing & Belonging
• Student & Campus Services, including Campus Safety, Dining, and more

Student Health Services strives to educate students to responsibly seek appropriate health care for wellness, illness and injury. Services are offered to students across all three campuses with the exception of online students.

The Office of Student Success works closely with all academic divisions, student services, and the student body to promote academic and social success.

The Student Technology Support Center (STSC) is a walk-in support center where students can go for assistance with their computers and hand-held devices.

Located in Nether Providence Township in Delaware County, PA, Taylor Arboretum at Widener University is a 30-acre reserve of plantings and natural lands dedicated by J. C. Taylor to the memory of his wife, Anne Rulon Gray, and intended to promote the "health, enjoyment and education of the public in perpetuity". The arboretum is open to the public free of charge. 

The Office of Teacher Education and Certification (OTEC) provides support to students seeking certification in the undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and graduate levels.

Technology is important in a university type setting. Teaching and Learning Technologies allows an opportunity for students and faculty to learn and operate new software and technologies that are used daily in the classroom as well as the workplace.

Widener's Title IX Office is committed to establishing and maintaining a community that is steeped in equality and free from all forms of discrimination and harassment.

A trained staff of Widener students is available throughout the academic year for one-on-one tutoring at the student's request. Group sessions are also held for some courses to foster collaboration and group learning.

This office works collaboratively with the associate provosts, school deans, faculty, staff, and administrators to achieve the institution’s academic priorities.
