Delaware Law School's admissions office provides assistance to students interested in applying to our legal education programs offered in Wilmington, DE and online.

Digital Media Informatics studies applications of information technology to all kinds of digital media. The program integrates creativity and design with the technology of the multimedia production. Students can choose classes from four specialized concentrations: (1) audio-visual, (2) graphics, mobile, & web development, (3) gaming & artificial intelligence, and (4) digital writing.

The Electrical Engineering Department provides a solid foundation in science and engineering principles, as well as practical applications in components of electrical engineering (e.g., circuits, logic design, electronics, communications, signal analysis, computer architecture, and power). Graduates have many career opportunities in related fields including telecommunications, robotics, automation control, medical imaging, software engineering, and aerospace.

The Office of Enrollment Management is the one-stop place for students and parents. The Offices of the Bursar, Enrollment Services, Registrar, and Financial Aid, are also located under Enrollment Management.

The Environmental Science and Sustainability Department trains students to critically assess, interpret, analyze, and evaluate some of Earth’s most pressing environmental problems. Crucial skills are acquired through coursework and field research experiences that will amply prepare graduates for a professional career in this discipline.

The Office of Financial Aid Services will guide you through the financial aid process and help make a Widener degree accessible.

The Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies department offers an interdisciplinary program that allows students to explore all facets of gender and sexuality, using the lenses of sociology, psychology, criminal justice, English, history and many other disciplines, as well as enhancing critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills.

We offer a gender, women, and sexuality studies major, minor, and certificate. We also have pathway programs to Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Human Sexuality Studies. Because we are an interdisciplinary program, many students find it easy to add GWS as a minor or double-major.
 

The Global Engagement Office provides students with an array of opportunities to learn about and experience cultures different from their own and to become globally engaged citizens. These experiences occur on and off campus through engagement with international students and scholars as well as through domestic and international study abroad, research, and service learning programs.

The Office of Government Relations serves as the primary liaison with the federal, state, and local governments. The Office cultivates and sustains relationships with legislative and executive branch officials and their offices in support of strategic institutional initiatives and priority projects.

Widener’s Grants Office is housed within the Department of Development and Alumni Engagement under University Advancement. The mission of the Grants Office is to coordinate and facilitate Widener’s mutually beneficial relationships with government, corporate, and foundation entities. The office can assist with identifying funders, proposal preparation, budgeting, reviewing and editing, submissions, and grant management.

Healthy Me is a community collaboration designed to provide children in the Chester Upland School District with an innovative learning opportunity to engage in reading and math activities using the context of personal and public health, while fostering relationships with mentors from Widener University and Main Line Health System.

The awards, founded in partnership with NBC10, recognize the region’s high school students who embody Widener’s commitment to develop and inspire leaders who affect positive change.  

The History Department opens student's eyes to a broader perspective on the world. Creative thinking, analytical writing, and critical interpretation are skills that make history graduates ideal job candidates in various fields.
