Allied Health Education Master's & Certificate Programs

Offered 100% online, our allied health education master's degree and graduate certificates enable health professionals to teach and lead in educational institutions, hospitals, and community health centers.

Program Overview

Ready to teach in a higher education, hospital, or health care setting? Our allied health education master's degree and certificate programs will help you get there in whatever way works best for your life and career goals.

With a master's degree in allied health education (MEd), you'll be prepared to teach, manage, and advise effectively in a profession that is in high demand due to an aging population and a greater need for health care services. You'll hone the skills and confidence to lead your organization into the innovative future of this profession. And you'll be able to earn your degree in as little as one year when you opt for the full-time MEd program.

If you want to follow a more relaxed timeline and are not ready to commit to a master's program, you can pursue our allied health education certificate programs. Certificate options include:

  1. Allied health certificate: Designed for health care administrators
Learn how to successfully lead your organization by studying issues related to health care policy and legal and ethical issues, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in allied health.
  2. Innovation in health care certificate: Designed for health care leaders or managers
Increase your knowledge of critical issues in the field including health care trends, communication in the fields of health and medicine, and assessment methods designed for health care education.
  3. Health care education certificate: Designed for health care educators
Learn how to effectively teach in the health industry with special attention to adult development theories and current practices in allied health education.

Credits earned through the certificate program can roll into the allied health master's degree program should you wish to pursue a master's degree after completing the certificate. Completing the master's program this way will take you a bit longer but will afford you significant savings, as certificate courses cost 50 percent less than master's degree courses.
