Sex Therapy Certificate

With a sex therapy certificate from Widener's Center for Human Sexuality Studies, you will further your skills and experience as a clinician to address issues related to sexuality.

Program Overview

In our sex therapy certificate program, you will further your training as clinician toward becoming a qualified and skilled sex therapist. You will excel through the use of valuable resources, such as highly-trained faculty, a time-tested curriculum, dedicated learning spaces, and eLearning capabilities. The sex therapy graduate certificate program is cost effective, practical, and convenient—courses are offered in a blend of online and in-person weekend classes.

Note: This program is only for those clinicians already trained in a mental health profession, who are eligible for licensure or already licensed. Medical providers, clergy, and other individuals trained in counseling may also be eligible for the program if they aim to seek certification by AASECT as a sex counselor.
